Our Staff

Connie Schulte, DPT, CCRP, CMP

Dr. Schulte graduated in 1983 from the University of Kansas Medical Center with a degree in physical therapy. She obtained her clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy, Summa Cum Laude, at Creighton University in 2003. She has taken classes in canine physical therapy, including anatomy and biomechanics, and has a Certificate in Canine Rehabilitation from the University of Tennessee. She has trained and shown her own dogs in conformation, obedience, agility, and tracking.

The combination of her experience, education and skill offer your pet the opportunity to gain the most from their rehabilitation experience. Connie works in conjunction with Mission MedVet specialists.

She is joined by a team of trained veterinary technicians providing your pet the highest quality of care.

Connie's TPLO surgery case study was selected by DVM Newsmagazine for their first monthly column on physical therapy and rehabilitation training techniques for dogs.  Rehabilitation prognosis positive after TPLO surgery in an agility dog.

Connie has also been published by the Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation.  She co-authored the article  "The role of therapeutic exercise in treating instability-related lumbar spine pain: A systematic review"
